Blasphemous Cartoons of Charle Hebdo

Now the French embassies in the Muslim world are shut down - because of a private magazine published some images of Mohammad in the name of Freedom of Speech. American Embassies are also closed in several places in the Muslim world, and their citizens are warned to stay inside and avoid crowds in most Muslim countries.  Why is that other major religions don't react the same way when they see blasphemous cartoons, films or writings?  Isn't there extremism in other religions?  Why do we see this type of nonsensical riots largely centered around the Islamic World? Big questions may have quick answers!
